The Galician Cartography and Geographic Information Plan is the basic instrument for planning the production of cartography of the General Administration of the Autonomous Community and the instrumental entities of the autonomous public sector, as well as the use and spread of the necessary geographic information for the management of the Galician territory, and its purpose focuses on guarantee the coherence and interoperability of spatial data, promote efficiency on public spending and ensure the quality of cartographic production and its usefulness as a public service.
